                     REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS/RESTAURANT & BANQUET FACILITY
                                      The Town of Marion, VA Golf Course
The Town of Marion, Virginia, is seeking proposals from interested entrepreneurs and
restaurateurs to operate a RESTAURANT/BANQUET FACILITY at the Marion Golf Course
(formerly Holston Hills Country Club). The purpose of this RFP is to provide the Town with
information to be used to select a tenant to lease and operate food service and banquet facilities in the building owned by the Town of Marion.

Qualifying proposals must include a complete Business Plan, detailing owners of the business, resumes highlighting past small business and restaurant experience, complete financial report and plan, marketing plan for the proposed business, and letters of reference.

Rent shall be $3,000 monthly, and will include all utilities. The selected leasee shall receive all proceeds from food and beverage sales, snacks and vending machines, pro shop snack sales, all banquet rentals, including all catering revenues for banquets, tournaments, and special events.  The Town requires daily (Mon-Sun) operating hours to be adjusted seasonally based upon operating hours of the Pro Shop. Prospective business plans should also submit a proposed menu and concept for special events and activities as part of the proposal.
