The Lincoln Theatre| 2021 Showing
With the release of her very first singles for Mountain Home Music Company, Carley Arrowood has begun to make her mark as an award-winning singer, a songwriter, and of course as a cutting-edge fiddler. You may recognize her from her time performing with the husband/wife duo Darin & Brooke Aldridge, but Carley is forming a new path all of her own. Her vocals are unmistakable, but her voice on the fiddle is also forceful and bright, winning her the IBMA Momentum Award for
Instrumentalist of the Year in 2017. Carley shares the stage with her sister Autumn on mandolin, boyfriend Daniel Thrailkill on guitar, and longtime friends Paul Watson and Sawyer Whitman on bass and banjo. Together they bring a refreshingly original sound to acoustic music that will leave you feeling exhilarated.
Based in Rowan County, NC, the Trailblazers add energy and passion to a progressive sound in Bluegrass music. After forming in 2016, the Trailblazers have continued to live up to their name by pushing the boundaries and adding to their repertoire, creating original music and adding original arrangements to classic songs. They have been recognized by top festivals and bluegrass music events, taking home First Place in the 2017 Merlefest Band Contest, as well as the 2018 SPBGMA International Band Contest. In 2018 the Trailblazers were also awarded the IBMA Momentum Award for Band of the Year, being recognized as
an emerging band to keep an eye on in the bluegrass community. In October 2020, The Trailblazers released their sophomore album, “Space and Time”. The band is comprised of Alex Edwards on banjo, Daniel Thrailkill on guitar, Jonah Horton on mandolin, and Will Thrailkill on bass.
