Red, White & Bluegrass Community Celebration

The Town of Marion is inviting family over for the holiday.

This July 4th, Marion will celebrate the nation’s independence and the community with a free concert at Riverbend amphitheater. Live bluegrass music featuring Valleygrass and Cabin Creek will fill the stage from 11 til 3, and everyone is invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the show.

In addition, Marion will host a car show, with prizes for top twenty participants, participants choice, and best in show. Registration on site is $20, and starts at 10am.

Local food trucks are invited to serve food on site.

“We are excited to get our community together”, said Marion mayor David Helms. “It’s been a long, tough year, and we believe this community gathering will be a great way for us all to come together.”

Marion’s Riverbend Ampitheatre is located on Baughman Avenue on the west end of town.
