Truck Loaner Program

The Truck Loaner Program begins mid April each year and runs through mid September each year. 

The Truck Loaner Program is a free service offered by the Town of Marion to help residents who may not have a larger vehicle to haul off unwanted items. 

This service is considered a seasonal program.  Any interested participants must be residents of the Town of Marion.  An application must be filled out and they can be picked up in the Engineering Department located on the lower level of the Town Hall.

The truck will be delivered on Friday afternoon, after the Town has finished with it for the week, parked on your property (Resident whom applied for the truck shall be responsible for the vehicle while in their possession) and picked up Monday morning during regular work hours.

The only time there will be a charge for the program is when something is placed in the truck that was explained on the application or the load has mixed items such as wood and metal.

Once again, applications can be picked up in the Engineering Office located on the lower level of the Municipal Building at 138 West Main Street Marion from 8:30 - 5:00.  All applications will be on a first come first serve basis.
