Town Clerk
The Clerk of Town Council, Dixie O. Sheets, MMC, maintains accurate records of the proceedings of Town Council and of boards and commissions which she has been designated by Council to serve. She is responsible for posting and publishing of official actions of the Council and for the compilation of ordinance and resolutions having long-term or permanent effect. All official records are kept by the Clerk’s Office. Records for Round Hill Cemetery and Royal Oak Cemetery are also retained in the Clerk’s Office. Ms. Sheets has been awarded a Master Municipal Clerk (MMC) certification by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, that organization’s highest level of recognition. Mrs. Clark has achieved the designation of Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) and is currently working toward the designation of Master Municipal Clerk (MMC).
