The W. W. Scott Senior Citizen Center invites all Senior’s to join us for good fun, fellowship, and to participate in our many activities.
The Center is open daily, Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (church service). The center is closed on Holidays and the days that the Schools are closed due to bad weather.
An example of a few of our activities are on-going each week:There are many other activities scheduled throughout each month, such as exercise classes, bingo, and horticulture Classes. There are also normally scheduled free "blood pressure check" on Fridays, and occasionally free "blood sugar checks". The Senior’s usually enter a Float in the Marion’s Christmas Parade. Call 783-8411 often to check on our special events that are scheduled each month.
The Center has its own 15-passenger van, and our Senior’s enjoy trips such as, Dinner Outings, Movie Nights, Shopping Trips, Visits to Nursing Homes, and sometimes a Mystery Trip.
The Center also has a "Beauty Parlor" that is open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday. You can get a haircut, coloring, or permanent at reasonable prices. Call the Center for more information.
We are here for you, so Senior’s (or any interested individual) come on out and join-in on our many activities, have an occasional good meal, and meet some new friends.
