Marion Downtown Summer Concert Series: Featuring Adam Bolt & the Cutters

Continuing downtown Marion's FREE Concert Series is Adam "Bovine" Bolt, commonly referred to as The Abingdon Troubadour, and for years, was the front man for The Ordinary Bitters. He has also fronted several other projects from incubation to hatchlings. There is no comparison to Bolt's highly acclaimed "solo style" that can guide you through your own demons via yodeling just to have you shouting out hip-hop lyrics back to the stage! Bolt describes his music as "Sensationalized, Cynical, and Seasoned Songs in the Key of Country", and his live performance will have you Laughing, Crying, Singing, and Dancing! We're excited to have him performing in downtown Marion this summer!

Start your evening off by joining the folks at Appalachian Spirit Gallery as they host their popular "Second Friday's ArtWalk," where you can enjoy art, snacks and live music on the porch of the gallery from 5pm-8pm. At 6pm, Broad Street will be lined with local car enthusiasts, showcasing their cars during the Broad Street Cruise-In. Around 8pm, stroll down main street to the Farmers Market Pavilion for an evening of great music, food and beverage concessions til around 10:30pm! Listen to LIVE music, dance and socialize with everyone all while supporting local! Admission to the music is always FREE.

Marion Downtown Revitalization Association, Inc. will be setting up serving drinks and beverages as a fundraiser. In addition, a downtown restaurant will be setting up to serve food during event. The concert is FREE to the public and will be held at the Farmers Market Pavilion in the Town Square Parking Lot in downtown Marion (located on the corner of Town and Chestnut Streets).

The Summer Concert Series is sponsored by the Town of Marion, The Bank of Marion, Blue Ridge Beverage and Marion Downtown Revitalization Association, Inc.
