DOWNTOWN BARBERSHOP RELOCATES TO FURTHER EXPANSION

Downtown Barbershop has relocated to 651 North Main Street in Suite 1 at the Train Depot,  from their previous location on 340 North Main Street. Downtown Barbershop has been in business since 2015. With the business continuing to grow, and with new services being provided, relocation was essential to their continued success. Joshua Widener, owner of Downtown Barbershop, has welcomed two new barbers, Matt Mabry and Matthew Widener to join his team. For many years, the Town of Marion has kicked off the holiday season the weekend before Thanksgiving. After listening to an abundance of requests to change that, Marion Downtown and the Town of Marion have decided to revamp their wonderful holiday weekend, in hopes of capturing more holiday spirit for the event! WINNERS OF MARION DOWNTOWN’S 2017 SCARECROW LANE ANNOUNCED

For the sixth year in a row, Main Street in Marion Downtown was lined with two dozen of the most creative, wacky and fun scarecrows! Businesses and organizations throughout Marion worked exceptionally hard to create their scarecrows in hopes of placing in the annual contest. This year, the competition was by far the most impressive to date. Every participant went above and beyond to construct extraordinary scarecrows that were displayed throughout downtown Marion's historic district.
